Gran Ducado is located in the heart of the Golden Mile, although very close to Marbella centre. It is only 600 metres from the town centre to the east. To the west, it is 700 metres from the prestigious Marbella Club Hotel. Its exceptional location, close to everything but in a quiet area, makes it a very enjoyable urbanisation.

What is the gastronomic and entertainment offer near Gran Ducado?
The gastronomic offer in this area is very varied. Being in the heart of the Golden Mile, we can reach some of the best restaurants in the city very quickly.
Restaurants that are about 1,000 metres away:
- Lekune, where we can enjoy the best tapas in the typical Basque style.
- Lobito de Mar, where you can discover the best seafood from the prestigious and award-winning Dani García.
- Leña, also by Dani García, a grill where you can taste the authentic flavour of meat.
- Sea Grill, the best fish in the city’s most popular hotel, Puente Romano Beach Resort.
- Nobu, here Japanese cuisine is the protagonist, with Peruvian influences.
- Nintai, a Japanese restaurant so exclusive, that it offers only 12 seats in an incomparable atmosphere.
If we are not looking for lunch or dinner, but to enjoy a good time near the beach, we have other options:
- Cappuccino Grand Café, located on the seafront promenade, the best place to have a coffee, a snack or a cocktail.
- Trocadero Playa, one of the best restaurants to be found on the beaches of Marbella.
- Marbella Club Beach Club, where you can enjoy a wonderful day at the beach with all the luxuries.
- Tamanaco, a restaurant on the beach, just below Gran Ducado. We only have to walk for about 5 minutes and we will be able to enjoy the sun and first class gastronomy.
Are there schools near Grand Ducado?
If we are going to live in the Grand Duchy and we are concerned about our children’s education, we have to say that this will not be a problem. There are several international schools nearby to choose from.

Is Gran Ducado a safe area?
This area is one of the safest in the city. The large number of businesses, the large social life and the constant police presence make it a very safe area.
When was the Grand Ducado Building built?
The Grand Ducado building is one of the most recently constructed buildings in the city. It was built in 2000, as were most of the buildings in this area.
Is Gran Ducado a good area for sports?
Its proximity to the promenade and the beach make this area a perfect place to enjoy an active life.
The long coastal path allows us to walk along the promenade for about 15 kilometres. From Gran Ducado we can choose between going towards Puerto Banús (west) or towards Río Real (east).
If we want to go to a sports centre, we have the Plaza del Mar Wellness Centre. There we can choose between group classes of pilates, spinning or yoga… If we prefer we also have a weights room, heated swimming pool and spa.
Are the flats in Gran Ducado spacious?
The flats at Gran Ducado are quite spacious. The smaller ones are about 150 square metres, while the larger ones are almost 300 square metres.
Can I get the Golden Visa by buying a flat in Gran Ducado?
The main requirement to obtain the Golden Visa is the purchase of a property worth more than €500,000. Any flat in Grand Duchy exceeds this amount, so we will be able to apply for the Golden Visa without any problem.
How to buy a flat in Gran Ducado?
