Is it possible to find a villa in Marbella centre?

In the area of La Merced we will be able to enjoy our villa in a quiet place, but excellently connected. Away from the noise of the cars and the hustle and bustle, but within 5 minutes walking distance to the promenade or 15 minutes to the old town.

Another central villa area is Huerta Belón, closer to the old town and also close to the promenade.

Where is the residential area of La Merced?

What are the areas surrounding La Merced?

Next to La Merced we find some other prestigious urbanisations or buildings in Marbella. Pavona Real, Guadalpark, El Capricho, Jardines del Príncipe, the Golden building, Alhambra del Mar and Palacio de Congresos building surround La Merced.

The high standard of these buildings and neighbouring urbanisations make the area a very prestigious and safe neighbourhood.

Where can I do sport near La Merced?

The Plaza del Mar Wellness Centre is located on the seafront promenade. For outdoor sports activities, 200 metres away you will find the Vigil de Quiñones Park and the Paco Cantos Sports Centre. In both we find open spaces for jogging and football, indoor football, basketball, tennis, paddle tennis… and even a climbing wall.

If you want to go for a walk, you can go to the promenade (500 metres away). Or to the Nagüeles area if we prefer to go to the countryside.

Are there any services near La Merced?

Less than 200 metres away there are two supermarkets, El Corte Inglés and Mercadona.

If we want to buy clothes, we can visit Ricardo Soriano, the main avenue of the city, which is 100 metres away. As for shopping centres, we will find La Cañada Shopping and the Centro Comercial Costa Marbella, belonging to the El Corte Inglés group. Both are 5 and 10 minutes away by car respectively. 

There is also a Starbucks just 100 metres away, where you can enjoy a chat with friends while enjoying a delicious coffee. 

What is the average price of a villa in La Merced?

We can find villas for sale in La Merced from 1.000.000€. Depending on the size of the plot, the constructed area and the condition of the property, prices can vary. We will find variations of up to approximately 40%.

Is La Merced a safe area?

Marbella is a safe area. But the area of La Merced, due to its proximity to the main avenue, the promenade and the Golden Mile, is an even more protected area.

Living in this residential neighbourhood you will not have to worry about security, as protection is at a maximum in this area. Police patrols constantly pass through this area, whether on horseback, by motorbike or by car.

Due to its proximity to parks and sports facilities, supermarkets and, above all, schools, it is an unbeatable area for raising children.

Within 200 metres we find 2 international schools, the Swans International School and the French International School of Marbella.

Furthermore, the Paco Cantos Sports Centre, the Vigil de Quiñones Park and the promenade are less than 5 minutes walk away. Our children or grandchildren will always have a place to play.
